Abstract

This paper is to study the innovative strategies for making Science and Technology accessible to learners. Science and Technology may be seen as a systematic investigation aimed at understanding, describing, predicting, and controlling natural phenomena.  Science and Technology, the product of Western civilization spread across the world and has been accepted by many as the best way of understanding, describing, predicting, and controlling natural phenomena. This led to the development of the Science and Technology curriculum and teaching of Science and Technology in many countries including Nigeria. Making Science and Technology accessible to learners is the desire of every Science and teaching process. It is, therefore, when Science and technology are presented to the learners in a way that they understand that Science and Technology will be said to be accessible. The strategies; Computer Simulation Teaching Strategy and Outdoor Inquiry Strategy discussed in this paper have all the potential of making Science and technology accessible to all forms of learners at a lower cost.
