Submission

Online Submission:
Manuscripts should be submitted via our online submission system. Authors can register or log in to submit their manuscripts. Start by clicking here.

Email Submission:
Manuscripts may alternatively be submitted via email directly to the Editorial Office at editorial@harvardpublications.com.

Originality

Manuscripts must be the original work of the author(s) and must not have been previously published or simultaneously submitted to another journal or publisher. The journal reserves the right to check submissions for plagiarism using dedicated tools.

Authorship

All individuals listed as authors should have made significant contributions to the conception, design, execution, or interpretation of the research. All listed authors must approve the final version of the manuscript prior to submission. Authors must disclose any use of AI tools in the manuscript’s development, ensuring transparency in the methodology section and accepting accountability for the entire content.

Copyright and Permissions

Authors retain full copyright over their work and grant the journal a license to publish, distribute, and promote the content in any format. Authors are responsible for securing permission to reuse copyrighted material (e.g., figures, tables, or text excerpts) not originally created by them.

Ethics and Consent

Research involving human participants or animals must comply with recognized ethical standards and institutional approvals must be documented. Informed consent must be obtained for all human subject research. Ethical research practices such as plagiarism prevention, proper citation of sources, and avoidance of data fabrication or falsification must also be strictly adhered to.

Disclosure of Conflict of Interest and Funding

Authors must disclose any potential conflicts of interest such as financial or personal relationships, that could influence their work. All sources of funding must be acknowledged, including grant numbers and funding institutions, where applicable.

Preparing your Manuscript

Manuscript Format:
Flexible formatting is accepted during initial submission, i.e., authors can submit their manuscript in any clear and readable structure—as long as it includes all the necessary sections. Manuscripts should be double-spaced and use a standard font with clear headings and structure.

Manuscript Length:
There is no strict word limit; however, manuscripts should be concise and present information clearly and effectively.

Document Types:
Accepted file types include Microsoft Word, OpenOffice, or RTF documents.

Contributions Types

The journal accepts a variety of article types including original research articles, review papers, case studies, short communications, editorials, and methodological papers. Each submission is subjected to rigorous peer review to ensure quality, integrity and scholarly relevance.

Manuscript Structure

Manuscripts generally follow this structure, with the following section descriptions. Although variations can occur based on the type of article e.g., original research, review article, discussion note, case study.

  • Title Page: The title, author names and affiliations, and corresponding author’s contact.
  • Abstract: A concise summary (maximum 350 words) of the research, including objectives, methods, key findings, and conclusions.
  • Keywords: 5–8 keywords that reflect the core topics of the article.
  • Introduction: Establishes the context, significance, and objectives of the study.
  • Literature Review: Summarizes relevant previous work, identifies gaps in the literature, and positions the current study within the existing body of knowledge.
  • Materials and Methods: Describes the procedures, tools, and techniques used in the research in sufficient detail for replication.
  • Results: Presents the findings of the study in a clear and logical sequence.
  • Discussion: Interprets the results, discusses implications, and relates findings to existing research.
  • Conclusion: Summarizes the key findings and suggests directions for future research.
  • Statements and Declarations: Includes author contributions, conflict of interest disclosures, ethical approvals, funding statements, and any other relevant declarations.
  • References: Lists all cited works formatted according to the journal’s citation style.

Review and Acceptance

Each manuscript undergoes initial editorial screening followed by double-blind peer review. Acceptance is based on originality, quality, clarity, and relevance to the journal's aims and scope.

Post-Publication Review and Discussion Policy

Authors and readers can engage in post-publication discussions through Letters to the Editor or by contacting the authors directly via the provided email addresses. The journal supports open academic dialogue and may publish selected correspondences that contribute meaningfully to scholarly discourse.

Handling Complaints and Appeals

Authors may appeal editorial decisions by submitting a reasoned justification. All complaints and appeals are handled according to COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) guidelines, and are reviewed with transparency and fairness by an independent editorial panel when necessary.
