Abstract

The travel and tourism industry is a vital part of the global economy, significantly contributing to employment and economic growth. In Nigeria, tourism has the potential to diversify the economy and create jobs. However, the industry faces challenges such as labor shortages, poor working conditions, and high turnover rates. Addressing these issues through better compensation, career development, and improved working conditions can enhance employee retention and industry sustainability.
