Abstract

This study focused on conflict management strategies and organizational performance in Mobile Nigeria Plc Port-Harcourt, Rivers State. In this case, survey research design was employed by the researcher and questionnaire served as the instrument of data collection. The study population made up of the entire staff in Mobile Nigeria Plc Port Harcourt from where 101 staff was sampled (though, only 94 questionnaires were properly filled, collected and used). The data collected were analyzed using simple percentage and chi-square. Based on the data analysis, it was discovered there is significant relationship between collective bargaining and organizational profitability; and there is significant relationship between constant dialogue and organizational productivity. It was therefore recommended that there should be effective communication system in the mobile industry and other organizations so as to keep all employees informed on the management policy, strategies and new developments. More so, organizational management – especially those in the mobile industry – should always implement and adhere to the agreement they reached with the workers.
